After 2 1/2 years of one of the most difficult times ever in my personal life, and also in addition, a Global Pandemic happening , it has taken 9 months to rebuild and now I am so ready and cant wait to start playing the new Jesse Collins Quartet music!

Im looking forward to launching the new group in NYC @ Smalls Jazz Club April 17th and then playing this summer 2022- May to Sept in the beautiful FLX area, Ithaca( May 30th @ South Hill Cider!!!) and Syracuse(Middle Ages Brewing -Sat night JCQ party Aug 20!!!).. 

 As I explore new musical directions in my career, I have been thinking more and more of(and publicly reminded recently of) my personal saxophone teacher when I was coming up, …the great Sam Rivers

  and his creative and brilliant playing and inspirational music…(!) thank you Sam

 (And my other teacher Jaki Byard is on this record as well…both of them I love and thank so much forever for their support and teachings)!

Im feeling “it”…! After being in semi retirement for the last 2 years …I’m beginning to feel in the best musical shape in years…and as well,just feeling good as I gear up for day 2 of the Jesse Collins Quartet recording in NYC with Ari Hoenig, Ed Cherry, Neal Miner @ Big Orange Sheep studio, with Chris Benham…(!!)

I am really happy how the recording is coming together …and how blessed my career relaunch has become…

…and feel totally blessed about this lovely upstate Jesse Collin Quartet is coming together…I had a wonderful session playing the new Jesse Collins Quartet music @ Tezcat Music Space in Ithaca NY…thanks to Ben Miller,Chris Gibbons and Liam Summers for their hard work and brilliant playing of the music…

Look for us this Summer in Ithaca, the FLX region and the Syracuse area as well…!

Great music and great times with London McDaniels super group Bead and Bone @ the Upstairs last night in Ithaca NY…!…

I feel actually blessed to have found out about the “Law of Attraction system”… and I am working on it and practicing it more and more daily the last year… … I have been literally personally amazed to see the results.. !!! 

I’m so thankful I found Esther Hicks and her friends last year and the LOA system …its changed me and then my whole life for the “way better”!… 

I’m starting to come into a complete alignment with a   “Much more positive type” of fun,new, wonderful life…

Thank you Ithaca and everyone!!!

…I have just had the most successful 3 months in my whole career with my next phase in my career just getting going!…and as I continue to build my career and expand my life and career horizons…there is one constant in my life … Ithaca NY and the Fingerlakes region being an inspirational and truly great home base for everything I want to do in this whole world!

Very productive and fabulous times working on my next Jesse Collins Quartet recording “Swing Joy Sound” in NYC this past weekend @ Big Orange Sheep Studios with Ari Hoenig, Neal Miner and Ed Cherry! … we recorded 6 of the 8-10 tunes on the upcoming record!…and it was such a joy to work with these wonderful players(!)…as well as the brilliant Chris Bentham and his staff @ BOS Studios!

I’m so looking forward to recording my new JCQ music this weekend in NYC @ Big Orange Sheep Studios(!)… thank you to Audio Garden and Real Bean Productions for their love and support of my playing , the JCQ music and Tezcat Records…!
